  • 1 ounce peppermint liquor

  • Whipped cream (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Into a small saucepan, combine the milk, cocoa powder, and sugar. 
  2. Use a whisk to stir well while simmering on low heat until steam is coming off the milk and the ingredients are well-blended. 
  3. Turn the heat off and pour in the peppermint liquor and CBD oil. 
  4. Pour into a mug and top with whipped cream.

Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup white sugar 
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 cups whole cranberries, fresh or frozen 
  • The juice of 1 orange, along with its zest

Preparation:

  1. Into a small saucepan, combine the sugar and the water and bring to medium-high until the sugar is fully dissolved. 
  2. Add the cranberries and allow them to cook for about 10 minutes, pressing them down with a spoon as they burst to mash them slightly. 
  3. After the cranberry sauce comes together, turn off the heat and add the orange juice and zest.
  4. After about 5 minutes, add the CBD oil.
  5. Refrigerate to chill.

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened at room temperature 
  • 1 ½ cup white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cocoa powder

Preparation:

  1. Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Into a small saucepan, add the butter and allow it to melt on low heat. 
  4. Once it’s melted, pour it into a mixing bowl, and whisk it with the sugar until you get a smooth mixture.
  5. Whisk in one egg at a time, followed by the vanilla and peppermint extracts. 
  6. Then, add the CBD oil.
  7. Slowly pour in the flour while whisking, followed by the salt and cocoa powder, and continue to whisk until you get a smooth, lump-free batter.
  8. Pour the batter into your baking pan and bake for about 20 minutes.

Hot Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened at room temperature 
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar, packed 
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cups hot cocoa mix that comes in packets
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows 

Preparation:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper. 
  3. Into a mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugars together until you get a light and fluffy mixture. 
  4. While beating on low, add the eggs one at a time, along with the vanilla and CBD oil.
  5. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, minus the marshmallows. 
  6. Gradually pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients with your beater set on low. 
  7. Then, fold the marshmallows in once you reach a smooth dough.
  8. Use a tablespoon dropper to portion each cookie into 2 tbsp. 
  9. Drop them onto the cookie sheet.
  10. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges start to brown.

Cozy Chicken Soup 

There is just something about a hot cup of soup that we crave like crazy all winter long. It makes us feel warm while having a comforting flavor that gets us through the coldest days. This chicken soup is a great choice if you want something easy yet oh-so-delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup celery, chopped
  • 1 white onion, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme, stems removed
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 lb chicken breast, boneless and skinless
  • ½ lb elbow macaroni, dried 
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation:

  1. Into a large pan or Dutch oven, add the butter and turn the heat to medium. 
  2. Add the celery and onion, allowing them to sweat until translucent and soft. 
  3. Then, add the garlic and the thyme, cooking for about another 3 minutes.
  4. Add the chicken broth and a few pinches of salt. 
  5. Bring the broth to a boil and drop in the chicken. 
  6. Bring the heat to a low simmer and cover.
  7. About 12 minutes later, check the doneness of the chicken by piercing it with a fork. 
  8. If it falls apart easily, remove it from the soup and turn the heat off. 
  9. Use two forks to shred the chicken into small, bite-sized pieces, and add them back to the pot, turning the heat back to medium.
  10. Pour in the pasta and cook without the lid. 
  11. When the pasta is done, check the seasoning, adding salt and pepper as desired. 
  12. Turn the heat off, and allow to cool for 5 minutes before stirring in the CBD oil.
